Sarah-Jeen Jean-Gilles

Law intern

A graduate of the University of Ottawa (LL.L.), Sarah-Jeen joined the Boavista team in March 2024 as a future bar intern for the year 2025.

During her university career, Sarah-Jeen held the position of Vice-President, Professional Communications, with the Black Law Students' Association at the University of Ottawa. She was also involved with the University of Ottawa Notarial Law Association, serving as secretary and vice-president of internal affairs.

At the same time, she acquired five years' experience in real estate law as a paralegal in a notary's office.

Known for her ability to listen, she offers clients a sympathetic ear and determines the best way to meet their needs. Although she is interested in a wide range of fields of practice, she has a particular interest in the following: criminal law, human rights law, civil law, labour law and immigration law.
